हमारे घर में सभी लोग दिवाली मनाते हैं। दिवाली में हम लोग सुबह सुबह उठते हैं और फिर घर सजाते हैं। सभी लोग मिलकर खाना बनाते हैं जैसे पूरी, आलू की सब्ज़ी, हलवा। रात को मैं और मेरी बहन दीये जलाते हैं। सभी लोग नए कपड़े पहनते हैं। कभी कभी पापा के दोस्त भी घर आते हैं और मिठाई भी लाते हैं। फिर दिवाली पूजा सभी लोग मिलकर करते हैं। मुझे दिवाली का प्रसाद बहुत पसंद है। पूजा के बाद हम लोग पटाखे जलाते हैं। फिर हम लोग अपने पड़ोसियों के घर जाकर मिठाइयाँ देते हैं और उनसे कहते हैं दिवाली मुबारक हो!  

Everyone celebrates Diwali in our house. On Diwali, we wake up early in the morning and then decorate the house. Everyone cooks together like poori, aloo sabzi, and halwa. Me and my sister light diyas at night. Everyone wears new clothes. Sometimes dad’s friends also come home and bring sweets too. Then everyone does Diwali Puja together. I love Diwali prasad. After the puja, we light firecrackers. Then we go to our neighbors’ house and give sweets and say to them Happy Diwali!
