Story Project: Environment, Climate Change, and AI

Story Prompt

Your story must begin with the following sentence:

“जब मैंने अपने मोबाइल पर AI द्वारा भेजी गई चेतावनी पढ़ी, तब तक बहुत देर हो चुकी थी।“

Imagine that you are living in India in the year 2045. An AI system detects an environmental crisis and sends an urgent warning. What happened? Were people prepared? How did the characters respond? What lessons did they learn?

Requirements

• Length: 600-800 words
• Include 4–5 main characters
• Use dialogue throughout the story
• Include themes related to:
  • Environment (पर्यावरण)
  • Climate Change (जलवायु परिवर्तन)
  • Artificial Intelligence (कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्ता)
• Have a clear beginning, middle, and ending
• Use descriptive language and advanced Hindi vocabulary
• Give your story a creative title

Suggested Characters

You may include characters such as:

• A university student
• An AI scientist
• A farmer
• A local government official
• An environmental activist

Presentation

You will present your story during the last week of classes.

Presentation requirements:

• 5–7 minutes
• Briefly introduce your characters
• Summarize the main conflict
• Read one favorite passage from your story
• Explain the environmental message of your story
