Write a poem – My home/ My family

  1. Give your poem a title.
  2. Choose one topic from the following: My Family, My Home, Food, or Myself.
  3. Your poem should be 8 to 10 sentences long.
  4. You may first write your ideas in English if that helps.
  5. Do not take help from AI, friends, or family. You may use Google Translate if needed, but make sure you understand what you are writing.
  6. You can ask me questions if you need help.
  7. You may write your draft on paper or type it.
  8. Your final poem must be typed and include an audio recording. (This is due next week after you receive feedback. It is part of your homework.)
  9. Please complete your first draft by tomorrow.
  10. You will present your poem in class on Wednesday, November 5.
    A special guest from our local community, the well-known writer Mamta Tyagi ji, will join us and give feedback.
