This makes sense and I understand how to decide whether to use मैं vs मुझे with भी but is there a lesson that describes how to decide whether to use मैं vs मुझे in the original sentence? Why, for example, do you choose मैं to go with liking vegetables but मुझे for when you go to bed?

I like Samosa. मुझे समोसा पसंद है
I know मुझे मालूम है
I am feeling cold मुझे ठंड लग रही है
I want a samosa मुझे समोसा चाहिए etc.
If you are responding me too to such statements then you would say मुझे भी
On the other hand when your pronouns don’t take any postposition then your response will be simply मैं भी such as
मैं दिल्ली में हूँ ।

मैं स्कूल जाती हूँ
मैं भी
मैं फ़ोन करूँगा
